Nice to read your travelogue about Mauritania. I road in the open ore cars from Nouadhibou to Choum 27 years ago, on our way to Atar. Of course there was a sand storm and we did our best to cover up (the cars were empty) so at least we were low. Thanks for sharing. I didn't have any photos since I had already sold my camera by that point.
Grew up travelling regularly to far flung places, first time to Africa was at the age of 10. Studied in Japan, worked & travelled around the Asia Pacific region, now more emphasis on West Africa. Currently living & working between France and Africa, in aviation & managing the NGO.
