Nice to read your travelogue about Mauritania. I road in the open ore cars from Nouadhibou to Choum 27 years ago, on our way to Atar. Of course there was a sand storm and we did our best to cover up (the cars were empty) so at least we were low.
Thanks for sharing. I didn't have any photos since I had already sold my camera by that point.
